Clark State works to provide you on-demand services without the need of an appointment. Drop-in services are provided on a first-come-first-served basis and wait times will vary. Services are currently only offered at the Beavercreek (Greene Center) and Springfield (Leffel) locations. Use the contact information provided by each service to check if there are any interruptions of services if you want to ensure someone is present.

Clark State 360: Student Orientation
Both new and returning students will find benefit in completing Clark State 360's student orientation in order to ensure they have completed and taken advantage of all the things required for enrollment and success. You can access our online orientation at any time using the instructions below:

Counseling Services
The Counseling Center services are free, professional, and confidential (except in cases of a life-threatening situation). Licensed mental health counselors and a Peer Recovery Support Specialist are available to help cope with stress, overcome barriers, and make referrals to community resources.

Financial Aid

Food Pantry
Clark State partners with the community to stock a food pantry on campus with shelf stable products and school supplies. Mobile food banks also visit our locations to provide food packages to community members.

Tutor.com - 24/7 Online Tutoring, Writing, and Academic Support
Clark State students have access to online professional tutors 24 hours a day, every day, through Tutor.com. You can drop in to find an available tutor or schedule a session in advance. They also have a video library of lessons, customized study plans, online flashcards you can create and use, and career assessments to help you determine your major and intended career. You can also upload written assignments to have a writing specialist review your work and provide feedback. Click here for instructions.

Students must use Blackboard to access Tutor.com by selecting the Tools tab in their course site to be redirected to the provider's site.

In-Person Tutoring on Campus

Drop-in Tutoring is only available for certain courses at specific times and locations. Tutors support all students who drop-in and will have to divide their time among all visitors. 24/7 online support is available through Tutor.com or Brainfuse. Open Blackboard and select the Tools tab to find these on-demand online Tutoring services.
